Product Overview:
  • Wood Used: All mantels and shelves are offer in MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), Birch or Oak wood.
  • Sold Unfinished: Our mantels and shelves are sold raw, allowing you to finish as desired. MDF must be painted. Birch and Oak can either be painted or stained.
  • We Offer Custom Sizes: All of our mantels and shelves can be custom sized to fit almost any application.

    Winterbrand Mantels and Shelves is a private label company, owned and operated by Accent Building Products.

Available Woods:

MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard): Offering a hard surface that is resistent to scratches, dents, and dings, MDF is a great low cost alternative to solid wood, suitable for painting only.

Birch: We use clear birch wood with clear white pine moldings suitable for either painting or staining.

Oak: Using clear red oak wood and red oak moldings, these mantels and shelves can be either painted or stained.

Measuring Guidelines:
 Our inside width and height measurements are stated without the pre-cut scribe molding to fit the inside of the mantel opening. Once applied to the inside of the mantel opening the scribe molding overlaps the facing material for a finished look.

Q: Are all of the necessary materials to install my mantel or shelf included?
A: Other than the fasteners (nails and screws), everything needed is included .
 
Q: Do you include brackets with the shelves?
A: No. Brackets are not used for installation, a mounting board is used instead.

Shipping:
 Our mantels and shelves can only be shipped within the 48 continental United States. Products are shipped via UPS or common carrier, depending upon size. State sales tax applies if you reside in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, or West Virginia.

Lead Time: 2 - 4 weeks
Lead times are approximate. Winterbrand Fireplace Mantels and Shelves will not be held responsible for any cost associated with prematurely scheduling contractors or installers. We do not recommmend scheduling any workers until you have your shipment in full AND in satisfactory condition. Please remember to inspect your mantel or shelf with 48 hours of delivery to report any concealed damages. If there are obvious damages at the time of delviery please refuse the shipment and contact us immediately so that we may begin building a replacement piece for you.
Return Policy:
Because all of our fireplace mantels and shelves are built to order they are non-returnable.
